Surprised UEFA don't fine Fabregas a million Euro for this shirt and yes I know who they are.

Re: European Football Championship 2012 Thread (Spain are champions)
My problem with Spain is the fans. freakin annoying and arrogant (sorry Nina )... I mean a Spanish sports newspaper claimed that Spain was the most dominant and clearly the best team in the semi with Portugal. And to make it sound better they even added something like "messi is better than ronaldo even on holidays".
Makes it hard to cheer for them. other than that, it's pretty much my second country!
Either way, CONGRATS guys, well deserved.

Rule prohibits remove or replace his shirt but he is wearing it.

So newspapers = fans?
Well, moreover Ronaldo has a lot of haters. From a Rafa fan I only can say you deal with it.

No. But I guess someone who writes such a thing must be pretty fanatic. And I spent 14 years of my life dealing with Spaniards on a daily basis, going to Spain every week, so I suppose I can say I know a bit about them
I am not a Ronaldo fan, not even close.

Spain has won 3 big tournaments in a row so sure we are on high horse in sports right now but how do you think would be the Portuguese if they were in the same circumstances?
Portuguese players and press also had been very annoying with his usual cry before the game about referee designation and other stuff. but well, we know that, Spaniard tends to be a bit cocky a Portuguese a bit crybabies

I had this opinion about Spain long before 2008, and winning 3 in a row didn't make it that much worse. Maybe a bit, but hell yes, you're bound to a bit of arrogance when your that successful. The problem, for me, is the way the fans, the country as a sports nation, already was before. That's my opinion anyway. I do realize my own country might be as or even more annoying at times, but What can I do, I was born here. I am not going to get as bothered as I do with other countries, right?
And this isn't just about football or tennis, it's sports in general.
Sorry, I didn't realize you were Spanish.

Spain just too good today, congrats. I'm so glad Jordi Alba is a new Barca player.

Re: European Football Championship 2012 Thread (Spain are champions)
Indeed, I guess Balotelli is happy now, because he already has his four goals

Casillas has taken from Dino Zoff the best unbeaten goalkeeper record in matches in the final phase of a European Championship.
