Re: Week 24 : Monza (Entry List)
DGT up 6-2 *2-3
He'd be completely wiping Montañes out if he had a decent backhand. All Albert is really doing is constantly hitting to DGT's backhand with a bit of topspin and making Dani prove he can hit it consistently, and he's failed to do so the last 15 minutes. He was doing so pretty OK for his standards the first set.
Whenever Dani gets the ball on his forehand, the point is over. He's completely in control of the proceedings.

Re: Week 24 : Monza (Entry List)
Montañes 6-4 second set.
Gimeno basically errored himself into losing the set. Albert is starting to really grind hard and fight, show more positive emotion.

Looking good at the moment.
DGT playing quite well and up 3-1.

Well said and after that tough match against Odesnik, he played very well.

Re: Week 24 : Monza (Winner : Daniel Gimeno-Traver)
Very good serving the final game. Very happy he came through this especially as he was really tested in his first two rounds, but he has played pretty good tennis the entire week. His serve and his forehand have been working and when that happens, he's extremely dangerous. Very happy for him.

Re: Week 24 : Monza (Winner : Daniel Gimeno-Traver)
Congrats Dani Tough match as expected, glad he came through at the end, and like Filo says, especially after being almost out in the first round against a player outside top 500, also saving mp next round against Odesnik.
Wonder how he'll adapt to grass now. He's due to play Wimbledon qualies tomorrow
