That's your opinion. Rafa wasn't at his prime either at the beginning of their rivalry yet, young as he was, he destroyed Roger on a non clay tournament in their very first encounter...and would have destroyed him for a second time running had the Miami final been the best of 3 as it is now. So you finally admit that Roger is way past his prime. Maybe that realisation will stop you predicting he's going to beat Prime Nadal/ Nole every time he faces them
Anyway let's not hijack the thread. Haas is on a mission to pull a Hewitt tomorrow...especially now thay you've predicted a Rogi win.

So what? Rafa is dominant on clay like nobody else including Federer ever was, on any surface. And still, this turkey-like H2H doesn't really show what this match-up is about. Please don't bring statistics into this argument, because you are just embarrassing yourself: Nadal did reach almost every final in the last two years, but what about 2004-2008? He dominated on clay since 2005 and reached Wimby finals, but unlike Fed who was always a close second even on his worst surface, Nadal was nowhere to be found on HC. There is no reason to claim that Nadal is as solid on fast surfaces as Federer is on clay. They play 3 clay events a year together, and at least 10 off clay, yet 14 of their 28 meetings were on clay.

FEDERER: I don’t think it was the back. I think it was my leg that was hurting but I was still able to play. I should have won on 0-6, 4-4, 0-40 and then he hit a net cord on one of his forehand. It’s a pity because I was in control, I was playing well, I created the opportunities I wanted. I don’t think he would have broken me at 5-4 and then he played really well I have to say in the third. He started to return me really well and he just got into another gear which was great to see. But it was still a good final for me. But my back has been under control for maybe somewhat over a year now. Obviously it always flares up from time to time like for any other player. When you change surface maybe you feel it a bit more but it’s not like you cannot play. But sometimes it gets too bad like for me in Doha or maybe for Murray in Madrid, he didn’t come. I mean you’re able to play somewhat okay but it’s just not a whole lot fun playing with it. I’ve been very happy with my back for about a year now or so.

Fed never won 1st set 6-0 v Hewitt in that Halle match, was 6-3 6-7 4-6

No. The story is Nadal beats fed
consider the match up issue and the fact that Fed was in decline post 2007 as to why he lost so much, not this poor excuse.

I just can't wait for tomorrow. This is one of the finals I've been waiting for a very long time.
