Not surprising, this is old grass, the newer generation doesn't know how to play on it.

Re: WWW Halle Final: Thomas Haas v. Roger Federer
Would love Haas to win, but I'm afraid Federer will take it.
Still, good to see Haas in another final. Most would have given up like a decade ago if they had had as many injuries as Tommy, awesome that he sticks around.

Haas has won his last 7 finals. Featherer has no chance.

Re: WWW Halle Final: Thomas Haas v. Roger Federer
Federer will win this comfortably, still it's great to see these two facing each other on ancient grass.

Re: WWW Halle Final: Thomas Haas v. Roger Federer
Nothing against Roger here but Haas winning this final would be great for the game.

Haas serves very well, is solid and has often given Fed problems.
That said, Fed plays well in this tournament, I still see him winning.
Berdych would have been more dangerous.

A disgrace that this isn't televised. I won't survive watching this on livestream so I won't even bother.

True but If you have a great tennis talent (which Tommy has), you can always come back even if you are a bit old. Talent doesn't disapper with injuries. Look at what B. Baker did this year after being so unlucky with injuries in the past.

I think that was what he actually meant.

Haas hasn't lost a final since 2002 I don't see how Federer can win this.

True, his talent isn't in doubt. But he had so many injuries and surgeries that you couldn't really blame him if he had given up long ago. It's amazing how he kept through it all and is still playing at such a good level.
It'd not be an exaggeration to say Haas is one of the unluckiest players ever to pick up a racket, as far as injuries are concerned. His injury record is just scary.
