[...] Among the principal reasons for the choice of Pospisil is that Milos Raonic is in the singles event and that could potentially clash with the doubles once both events begin. Equally, Pospisil will be able to practice doubles full-time with Nestor in the lead up to the Olympics – and the two might play a couple of ATP events together, including Eastbourne before Wimbledon and Newport the week after.
Even if he had played doubles, Raonic’s main focus would probably still have been on the singles.
A further bonus is that Pospisil will get a chance to participate in the Olympic Games. [...]
I dont think the injury is going to affect him to much. Whatever it was it didnt stop him from finishing the match v.s ryckaq and he still blasted 16 aces.
That being said its really hard to see him getting past david if he comes up against the motivated version.

Who knows, maybe it was a muscle pull or something, there is no way you can know what the injury was.
If vasek could ever get by Nalbandian the draw is there to ghet to the semis. That Quarter is awful. I don't expect Sim on to do well, Bogo sucks, and Roddick hasn't won a match in month, though he could do something on grass.
Though he'll probably just lose to Nalbandian

How is that possible, he would 1st probably have to pass Roddick, then Simon, I don't see that happening.

That's a good thing. I will be home from work by then
It doesn't really matter. it's not like they started or anything and have to wait until the 4th match to restart. When no matches starts it's very common to just make a whole new OOP that doesn't look anything like the first one at all

Yeah, it totally makes sense to make a new one, considering there are more matches that are scheduled for day 2 anyway.

well baghdatis/gil probably went on alot longer than they thought and didnt want to have to risk delaying the match again hence the move
Yeah, but how many chances do we actually get to watch him, not many, and when we do it's usually a crappy CH feed, we like never get to see him at tour level, I wonder if he's ever been on TV at tour level before not counting the Rogers Cup of course.
