oh he's consistent right now just probably not in the way you;d want him to be
I know you think it clever to run players down, misty, but despite Vasek's struggles this year so far, his results still put him at 6th best ATP player born in 1990. He's not the only one to have ups and downs.
I guess you are hoping he drops so Berankis looks better, right?
why do you feel the need to bring him up? i was simply making the comment that i will be interested to see how he does. Everyone seems to think his poor results are because he's been playing oin clay but i dont think thats the reason at all. I have nothing against him at all
i do think he's slightly over ranked but im not a hater.
as for rycka, like i said that was really uncalled for. I dont see what my wishing rycka to get healthy and get back into the top 100 has to do with vasek
Wow - I wish I had that forsight for tennis tipping
Vasek had his chances early in the third - complete lack of concentration. ERV was nothing special and Vasek let him back into the match rather than ERV earning it. Look taking one set on clay is already a good result for him - off to the grass now, he's the first alt for Wimbledon so will get MD there and a 2nd or 3rd round appearance should be the goal.
Knee jerk reactions to losses are not productive either - Vasek is ATP player material, don't forget his age. Look at a guy like Malek Jaziri - took him much longer to get to the top 100 and into MD's on the ATP tour. Vasek achieved it far quicker than most at his age group, and even if he stays a hard/grass specialist, so what - he's got the skills.
