"I've been watching Roger playing on telly for so many years," said Goffin. "Roger has always been my favourite. He has perfect tennis, perfect technique, and I like the man. From a human standpoint, he is a great person, whether on the court or outside the court. So I expect a very difficult match on Sunday. I don't know exactly how I should prepare for this match, but I'll try and have fun."
"Now I'm playing against Roger, and I can't believe it," said the 21 year old from Liege. "When I was young I had a lot of pictures in my bedroom of him."

It's only normal. The guy has grown watching Fed matches. It's as if Roger played Becker/Edberg. They're 10 years apart. Obviously this is lost on some (all??!?) of the posters here.

Its not that I have a problem with him idolizing Roger, it just demonstrates that this is not much of a challenging R4 
The kid will probably be too starstruck to play tennis properly

Frankly, I found that kid very irritating and the audience even more so. The bowing and kowtowing to the audience made me sick. Being excited to be there is one thing, but that was really ridiculous.
