I couldn't watch the first set but he was very erratic in the second and the third set, whereas Cilic played unbelievably well.

@bunny Agree ......I couldnt watch it today but it's been going on in my head all day that this won't be his last .....

1st set imo he was the better player, was more aggressive in the rallies but he was serving at under 50% which is really unusual for him - he gave away the tie break after leading 2-0 with a double fault and an easy error to 2-4 but was able to level again before making another 2 easy errors to lose the set 6-7 ... 2nd and 3rd set Cilic just played really good - good serve, many winners few errors and JC couldn't step it up again.

Too bad he lost against Cilic, but so happy to hear he won his first match. After being injured and ill and out much of last year, being able to play is great for him.
