Peter Luccin wasn't it during Celtic's UEFA Cup final run in 2003. I think he had a trial with Celtic a couple of years ago but they decided against taking him on.

Anyone know what's the deal now in spain with Villareal relegating. Because isn't there a Villareal B in the segunda devision? And those teams aren't allowed to promote because of the obvious match fixing issue, but what's the situation now? Are they dropped down to the third division or can they stay in?

A team and its lower associated teams cannot be in the same division, so Villarreal B will be going to Segunda B while the Big Submarino is in Segunda A.
Same would happen for let's say Athletic, Bilbao Athletic and Basconia.
It is also bad for the team because it is better that your lower league teams play as high as they can go so the guys will be more experienced when they have to take the jump to the first team.
In Athletic's case it's different because the good guys in BA and Basconia usually go very young to the first team, see Muniain (at 16) or Aurtenetxe (at 17), Llorente went up at nearly 19, etc.
