Re: DuŠan VemiĆ
Dusan wasn't lucky in attempt to reach his third career ATP doubles final. Nice run anyway.
Vemic/Friedl lost to Bopanna/Qureshi 6-7(5), 6-3, 8-10.
They had an 8-5 lead and 2 serves in super tie-break.
Dule will be teaming up with his fellow countryman Viktor Troicki in doubles at Roland Garros.
Good luck!

Istanbul Challenger Final:
FRIEDL, Leos CZE/VEMIC, Dusan SRB[2] def. BATTISTONE, Brian USA/SILJESTROM, Andreas SWE 76(6) 76(3)
Congratulations! I think Vemic looks much younger than 34 and very fit in person. that 92 kg on his atp profile must be bullshit. funky shades, too.

Re: DuŠan VemiĆ
Three set win for Dusan in the Serbia F1 futures event in Belgrade last night, beating the number 534 Schmid - 6-1/3-6/7-6. He'll get a singles rank back. Is this the start of a last hurrah in the singles? I hope so. I've missed Dusan from the challenger tour, as he was achieving his highest rankings too. Obviously, his decision to play doubles has benefitted him massively in terms of exposure and financially - I'm not sure he would have reached a GS quarter final in the singles . But even so, he has a nice game, and it was a shame he stopped playing singles.
Number 1 seed world 340 Michon in the next round today. Good luck Dule.
