Jan can make the finals if he wins his section, which is easier said than done. He should beat Dimi, but Bedene/Russell can cause him problems, and then potentially Rosol in the QF. I hope AHM or Goffin beats Rosol.

Such exaggeration There are about ten contenders for the title in total. It's a strong field.

Well, I've been known to be biased about favorites but in this case, I think I'm being very realistic

I don't think Jan would not make the finals from the top half The only guys I can see there who could beat him are Haas and a red-hot Brands. Tommy is injured with his back and potentially will be fatigued from Munich, and Daniel is definitely not red-hot.

If Jan doesn't win the title, it will be borderline devastational. Hopefully, Zeba makes the final from the top-half, but he probably won't. Gaba, Russell, Schoorel and Bedene making the finals from the bottom half would be passable if Jan fails to do so. As long as Rosol doesn't, and loses his title points.

Bachinger Ilhan and Zemlja are fluky but if they are in form, they could take Hajek out. I understand Jan always does well in Czech events, so he will be the favorite against any player, but his potential opponents deserve more credit than you are giving them.

I agree with Ilhan, but I don't think Bachinger nor Zemlja could do it. Zemlja I don't think has been in any form, and Hajek at his best is simply too good for Bachinger on clay. I could see Kamke beating him if he was painting lines like he can do.

Infallibility is boring to me. I really enjoy watching Federer, but I can skip 90% of his matches because I know he will win them beforehand. I obviously want my favorites to do well, but there is much more excitement when wins become less certain. Plus I genuinely prefer the type of tennis at the lower level. There is less of an emphasis on powerful hitting (yes, I am aware that Chardy is one of my favorite players). Flavio epitomizes what I like in a player: intelligent play, enjoys going to the net, does not ace his way through service games, and has a great attitude both on and off the court.

Oh and I don't think I have quite the sex drive that Filo claims to have (and I doubt that anyone does)
