Great win for Fred, seemed to ease past the match, he declared that he felt well, and that Marcel seemed to have a flew or something. Still, it was good that Fred didn't complicate things for himself, as sometimes happens. I feared so, when he lost his break advantage on mid second-set, but then he imediattely broke-back again. Now, I expect a good match against in-form Sousa, great Portuguese clash, and then I hope Fred to give a good run for his money to Tipsarevic.

Fred can definitely make the QF here. That would situate himself well for Estoril. And he's already nearing the top 100 again, so that's most important. Looks likely he'll make Wimbledon MD.
