thanks for the info soulage, I'm a bit relieved that he's not injured but mental issues sometimes can be worse than injuries
No wonder he took Jo as his date to the players party Hopefully they'll do some damage in doubles.

Re: Julien Benneteau
Julien won one match in Miami, beating Becker 3-6 6-3 7-6(4) before losing to Ferrer 6-7(4) 3-6. Overall, he won the match he was expected to and was competitive against a top 5 player in Ferrer. Now he will be preparing for Davis Cup, as he will be playing doubles with Mika again as vs Canada for France vs USA in Monte Carlo. Julien will be the best clay courter on the court between he, Mika and the Bryan Brothers so he that's something he should be able to take advantage of. I have to root for my country over France but hopefully Julien and Mika play well in the doubles
Poor boy he broke his elbow and has a classic spain on his ankle. It seems it would be at least 5 weeks off tennis and RG is doubtful
Noooooooooooooo.
I can't believe he actually broke his elbow. Sprains go away if you just rest a bit but why did he have to break something??? That video is horrible to watch. Thanks for the info soulage, as always.

Re: Julien Benneteau
He definitely won't be back for Roland Garros, and he basically is resigned to missing the French. His goal is to be back in time to be able to attain enough points to make the Olympics over Gasquet, who he is fighting for the #4 French spot. But new reports are stating he will not return for at least 8 weeks, which would mean no French Open and very questionable for Wimbledon, which would basically mean no Olympics.

What is sure now is that he won't play BEFORE RG. He knows he needs a bit of a miracle to play the French Open but no decision has been taken. For The Olympic it looks you missed that the deadline if the monday after the FO. Julien is ahead Gasquet but Richard will play some tournaments before the deadline and that's not sure for Julien.
Last news from tonight radio show are ten days of elbow spint instead of 3 weeks. Then reeducation and he should not hit the ball before 4 weeks so RG is still possible but it would be risky. It looks he won't play the French Open but the door is not close yet
Please help me winning, by "liking" my pic with the title: Sport and Beauty united. (11th pic from the bottom - feat. Marta Domachowska in black and white.) Thanks! Here
