Always good to see this talentless serve-bot get humiliated. And to think this scrub was in top 20 at one point

Huge win Querrey.

Shame for Brian, he could have won. But then again I doubt he has a very high level of fitness to win third sets.

He doesn't have a coach right now, he's just traveling around playing. He can get away with this a bit because he's very talented. But if he can stay healthy and has the money to hire a coach and fitness trainer, he can fulfill a lot of his original potential.

His comeback won't really be complete until he routines Djokovic again

Learn to read, Querrey won.

Unless you think losing a set to Baker and still winning is humilation in which case most players would be glad to be humilated if it means winning

Then how is a win humilating? It's not

Really unfair depiction of events. Retired due to injury and only recently made a comeback.

I don't expect much tennis knowledge from posters here, but Brian Baker was basically one of the USA's young guns who were expected to rise to the top of the game before he got injured. He came along before Isner, Young, Harrison, and after the Roddick/Fish group. Baker beat some huge names when he was young and was rising up the rankings fast, before sustaining several injuries. He's been doing great in futures and has been doing decently in challengers as well since his comeback.

Baker is an amazing story. Same age group as Djok, Murray, Monfils, he has wins over all of them. Won Orange Bowl, finals of JR French Open. Beat #9 seed Gaudio at US Open, took a set off Moya at US Open. Then three hip operations and Tommy John surgery on his elbow forced him out of the game for four years. Returned last year and won a Future without dropping a set. Really talented player. I saw him play in Sarasota, he won three qualifying matches in straight sets and in the main draw he flat out whooped Sweeting who quit at 16 02 in the second set. It appeared Sweeting was not expecting a tough match from Baker. Sweeting did not show any signs of illness early in the match or warmup. He simply quit the match out of frustration and walked off with his head under a towel. Remember, Sweeting took Isner to two tiebreaks last week in Houston, he's in fine form. Baker then played Querrey and took a set but lost in three. Hope Baker can get on a roll, it would really be a wonderful story to see him get to the top 100 or 50. Good luck Baker.

Bah, would've preferred Baker to take this.
