Went to see the Subways in Amsterdam a couple weeks ago. Wasn't that big a fan of their music, still aren't, but a couple friends convinced me to go. And damn, if it wasn't one of the best concerts I've ever seen
They know what it means to perform and to entertain, just crazy

Simply Red was the last one a couple of years ago. Too bad you can't turn back time. Really would have liked to see Hall and Oates during the 80's. They were at their very peak back then.

My last concert was Arena (promoting their disappointing last album though) I think. Good show, but would've liked some more of their earlier work
I would have liked to go there but couldn't due to my refurbishing-da-house probs. Meh.
Agree with you, their earlier work was wayyyyyy better.

EDIT: just read you went to see Anathema too Sunset You should really consider going to Loreley in July this year, the line-up is pretty good!
I've racked up visiting some 50+ concerts since 1995 of theirs - all over Europe. They are MY band.
On their guestlist for April 28th in Paradiso!
I missed out on Loreley last year though... when they were one of the headliners.
A little plaster on the wound was to read that they got messed up a bit because of bad sound.
I'd really like to go there this year, but I'm in need of some good company - preferably with a car.
Ice Cube earlier this week. Great to see one of Gangsta rap's originals in Canberra, the crowd loved it, it was awesome.
Somewhat different from my previous concert I saw - which was Ronan Keating

This one The Specials. The crowd was around 1300 and they owned them from the first song. The sound was tight at worst.
