Radek and Leander Paes have won the doubles title in Miami, defeating Nestor/Mirnyi in the finals! Radek and Leander defeated the Bryan Brothers 6-4 6-4 in the SF before winning 3-6 6-1 10-8 in the finals, rallying from 1-4 down in the tiebreaker by winning six straight points. It is the pair's second title of 2012 after winning the Australian Open doubles crown over the Bryan Brothers in the finals

Radek has a ATP-leading 16-2 doubles record this season with Leander and winning his Davis Cup doubles rubber with Berdych over Italy in the first round of the event. In singles, he has a 9-7 record, his best results coming in Memphis where he reached the SF and Brisbane where he reached the QF. He defeated Seppi in five-sets in his Davis Cup singles rubber in early February to help the Czech advance 4-1 over the Italians.

His next event will now be the second round of Davis Cup in Prague at home vs Serbia this upcoming weekend. The tie will be played on clay, and Djokovic will not be apart of the Serbian team. Radek plays his best in Davis Cup, so without Djokovic, the Czech have the opportunity to pull off the upset. GL to Radek and the entire Czech squad!
