Re: Jan Hajek
Hajek has had to drop down to Challengers after not defending Prostejov. Not a bad week last week making the final in Marburg and he has made the SF in Braunschweig.

Re: Jan Hajek
Jan got smoked by Rosol who was in fine form today 6-3 6-1. Semi final points not bad, but ranking will look after itself.

Re: Jan Hajek
Not a bad last 3 weeks F, SF, SF. Hajek will make top 100 by the end of the year barring injury.
Missed a big chance against Prodon served for the match twice, but got a bit passive. Three weeks in a row plus 2 Bundesliga rounds, just getting the matches into the system.

Re: Jan Hajek
Unfortunately for Jan, after his good run through the summer in challengers, a combination of bad draws and injury issues kept him from building on his good form and he failed to regain his top 100 place at the end of the season, finishing 2011 at #141 in the world. His best result after his F-SF-SF run in challengers were two SFs in Brasov and Trnava challengers.
2012 has started the way 2011 ended, with a 6-7 record, his best result being a SF at Meknes challenger. He has lost a lot of close matches this year and is now currently injured, retiring from his last match in Casablanca due to a neck/back injury and has not returned. Hopefully he is able to return soon, as he has had to withdraw from this week's event in Barletta as well. Injuries have taken their toll on Jan but when he's healthy he has shown he can still win matches consistently at the challenger level. GL to Jan in future tournaments!
