ATP website refers to "Uncle Toni"
Who runs the ATP website? It's strange enough when commentators keep calling him Uncle Toni as if he's everyone's uncle but didn't expect it in an ATP article.
In this rather boring write up http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Ten...-Briefing.aspx setting up the H2H of Fed/Delpo and Rafa/Nalby it gives the main career stats of Nadal and Nalbandian. Nadal's coach is apparently "Francisco Roig (Uncle Toni not here)". Amateur hour. The article is totally pointless anyway - do we need a round up of Nalby, Delpo, Rafa and Fed's year so far - all 2 months of it - for the buildup to a QF?!! Why not write some articles about lesser known players - give us some insight into the tour - not this rubbish that a 12 year old could have written better.

Uncle Toni is a universal concept. Like War, politics and pizza.

Re: ATP website refers to "Uncle Toni"
You may not know this, but Djokovic recently found a broken Head racquet under his bedsheets. We shall see the result in the final.

Re: ATP website refers to "Uncle Toni"
When Rafa ascended to the tennis throne his Uncle Toni became our Uncle Toni, and then he became the world's Uncle Toni.

uncle toni is everyone's uncle in the ATP. in the lockerooms and more private circles he's universally known as the gothfather, though.
