CH Dallas R1: Cipolla def. Bogomolov 6-4 6-1
Bogomolov held once in the match, his first service game, in which he saved a break point. He was then broken 7/7 times the rest of the match.
Cipolla was way too slick, consistent and crafty and Bogo looked flustered, disinterested and essentially tanked the second set. He took a medical timeout at 1-*2 in the second. Cipolla only held 2/5 times in the first set but that was enough.
Another loss for the Russian, should make 98% of MTF happy

Who are the 2% that are sad because of this?

Bogomolov has some fans on MTF, I don't really hate or like him, but the hate that he has on this forum is amusing (and pretty well deserved) so I'm glad he's been struggling just to see the responses on here

Russia may even have Kazakhstan beat for "worst judgement in stealing a player from another country" Well deserved for Bogomolov

He's a mediocre player who snuck up on guys last season. Once players have their radar on you, there is less you can get away with. Guys aren't taking Bogomolov for granted. Also, the motivation factor. Now that he's making money playing for Russia, and he's gotten to top 50, beaten great players, he likely lacks the same fire as he did this past season.

He is probably going to retire end of season, ranked 130 or something. Just picking op appearance money on the way.
Good that Cipolla won this.

he just sucks.
Last year he played above his normal level combined with his opponents having no clue who he was, which got him a few good results. He's lucky if his level is top 100, and will be lucky to be there after this year
Expected result, saved me in TT

Re: CH Dallas R1: Cipolla def. Bogomolov 6-4 6-1
Haha...are we really analyzing a shitty challenger match?
That being said however, Bogie is just the worst, in all aspects. Literally has to be the most unliked player. I remember last year's US Open he beat that brazilian qualifier Dutra da Silva, while playing as an "American" and Bogie still gave the "shush" motion with his fingers over his lips to the crowd, hahaha. what a fool! he sucks and hope he loses continually for the amusement of people on here bahaha bogie.
