I will never EVER like Soeda. My dislike for him has simply been too strong for too long. But I will be honest, his game has definitely improved. He's hitting a sharper ball.
Still, if Frederico Gil had closed him out in Chennai when he was up a break and had a chance for a double break in their R1 match there, none of this would be going on...............Soeda wouldn't be winning like this. Also he STILL has only been winning in Asia. Until he wins outside of Asia and shows he can beat top 100 players on any consistent basis, it's hard to have a lot of respect for him.
