Madrid and Roland Garros looks fine??

Leng already explained why Djokovic's at his worst on grass and how the fact it has changed so much the surface, why he has benefited from it. It's significant in that he was much better than Safin at that time on a surface that the big Russian hated.

Well, since that Wimbledon until late in 2010 he was losing a lot across all surfaces, winning WTF is almost the only notable thing in the period.

Besides, if he had to play exclusively on fast surfaces since he hit the tour until today, his game would surely be different now, for better or worse, but can't imagine it would have no impact.

Fact is Fed, Nadal and Djokovic have all benefited from homogenisation in different ways, this is obvious.

As for his game being different, well that would be the same for everyone.

Another cop out response.

Somehow I am the one making this personal when you started it first.

since NoDjok, fed, and the clay warrior are the greatest winners out there for the last 10 years then they must be the ones who have benefited the most from the slower courts.

which sport are you watching, one has to wonder.

he lost to frigging kohlschreiber in 2009 FO and frigging melzer in 2010 FO.....do we consider him a weak clay courter for that? we know that he was struggling for motivation in 2010.....in 2008, i clearly remember nadal drained him out mentally by hammering him at hamburg, french open and queen's was his most frustrating defeat.....

grass maybe his weakest surface but that doesn't mean he is piss poor weak on the surface and that he wouldn't fare well on old grass.....grass is still grass and he is the defending wimbledon champion.....

funny that even federer has zero wimbledons on fast grass and yet they make blanket statements that nadal and djokovic wouldn't make wimbledon finals on old grass......

a 20 year old clay courter ripped through fed's competition and shook him on the 2006 wimbledon grass if that is what they think fast grass was......a 16 year old absolute nobody blasted mario ancic(the one who took out fed the previous year) on 2003 wimbledon grass if that is what they think fast grass is.....

It surely would, and I bet the top 4 would still be the same. This is all about betting and guessing anyway. I could come up right now with some "arguments" pulled from my behind. One can surely guess and argue at the same time, it's fun or waste of time, anyway you want to look at it, but it can't be taken too seriously.

Federer has a playing style that is heavily skewed towards fast conditions. How is this even debatable? Some people will argue anything on the internet.
