Re: Buenos Aires R1: Nishikori def. Ferrero 7-5, 3-6, 6-2
It's nice that Nishikori chose Buenos Aires and Acapulco over Memphis and Delray Beach. I think his tremendous high-bouncing topspin forehand may do some damage. Experience he's going to get in South America should pay dividends at the European clay-court season.
Ferrero currently struggles with the biggest crisis in his career, perhaps his body is exploited (not too many active guys can compare to him in terms of matches and tournaments played).

Disappointing. Juanqui should be beating Nishikori on clay at this stage. I'm a little afraid he might be winding down for good this time.

Great win for Kei, who's clay resume needed a good dusting up.

Didn't watch the match but its a good win for Kei on paper. I haven't seen Ferrero play in ages.

Ferrero is done.
Kei nicely gifted him a set though.

JCF just went away in the third. Couldn't hold serve to save his life.
