DC R1 4R Nishikori def. Dodig 7-5 7-6(3) 6-3 Japan vs Croatia 2-2
Of course, Kei started from a break down in the first set but managed to take it. He was a break up in the second set but Dodig quickly leveled and brought the set to a TB, which Kei dominated.
So a job done for Kei after the disastrous Day 1. Today he was serving smart and using drop shots, lob and passing shots effectively.
Dodig must have been tired after playing both singles and doubles (he called physio to massage his thigh late in the second set).
It's now down to Soeda vs Karlovic and I'm not counting too much on it.
At least it's been better than the whitewash Japan suffered in their past two World Group performances in the 1980s.

Well, it's good that we have a live fifth rubber.
I wonder whats going thru Soeda's head right now

Expected result. Dodig is a challenger level mug.

A rematch would be a revenge served with two bagels.

Dodig is such a mess on 2012... dont expect him to be Top-100.

Unfoetunately Croatia with Dodig has 2 points minus in start.
Altought he is always close and he plays good.
I don't think he will drop out from top 100. He just losta little bit confidence

Dodig has big serve, big heart-he is fighter out there, but unfortunately has no FH... without FH or serve in tennis you can´t succeed, so hope he will work on his FH.
