Oh my god, yes. These two are killing tennis. Who wants to sit through 6 hours' worth of one-dimensional, physical tennis from the baseline?

Alas that GIF has more variety than yesterday's match.

That's funny. People are saying Rafa runs much more compared to Djokovic but the statistics seem to suggest otherwise. I think it was the same at Wimbledon.

Can't say I'm disappointed about this AO final. If there was ever any doubt Nadal was turning this rivalry back in his favor, those doubts have been laid to rest. Nadal up a break in the 5th set on Djokovic's best surface, is an ominous sign for the next 3 slams. And all this after just one month with his new racquet weight. The Djok camp can feel Nadal is on the way to hunt them down. Here's to THE RAFA SLAM 2013 in AUSTRALIA.

That made me smile, please don't be disappointed if it doesn't happen, slight possibility of course, but still warning you anyway. And I miss the word 'GOLDEN' here, you heretic.

Forget about Nole 2.0 and welcome Nole 3.0 The Warrior.
Really, who could have predicted this transformation two years ago? (I did, but you won't believe me anyway).
No one ever will be able to doubt again Nole's willpower, fitness, heart or spirit. Is there anything else he must prove? Is there anything he can't do?
AMAZING, my eyes still hurt. 3 straight matches against the best grinders in the world and I don't know have many hours on court. Surreal. Nole has become a LEGEND. NID.
Big RESPECT for both players, Nadal showing once again why he is truly one of the greatest of the sport. This match will be remembered for ages, grandparents will show it to their kids. This rivalry is going to surpass fedal for sure.

Sadly. This.
Yesterday's match was a great display of fighting spirit - and thus a GREAT match, i fully agree, but not in tennis terms. Boy oh boy, Djokovic and Nadal are the leading players in destroying what was a beautiful sport.
It is a shame.

So if Nadal wins more slams than any other player on tour in 2012, my username is invalid?

Luckily real tennis fans love it and have the capacity to appreciate its greatness.
