I didn't bother reading all that, Mae

What I meant here is that this particular tournament doesn't feel like an important curling tournament, like the Tim Horton's Brier of World championships.

Until about 6 years ago I just laughed when I saw curling on TV; didn't get it all. Now I understand it better (though I still don't know all the rules) and sometimes I get quite into watching it.

I also tried it once; it's very, very hard!

yeah, i dont even think the curlers themselves take it that seriously. But i get to watch so little curling that ill take what i can get

I heard they had mixed men's and women's teams in one set of matches. I'm sorry I missed that. You don't see that too often.

yeah, they really do alot of different things here at this event. The athletes themselves really seem to have alot of fun with it

fenson is good but he really has alot of people thinking he's better than he is because of the olympic bronze he got in 2006. He hasnt done anything aside from that..he's more of a pain in the ass to the top teams rather than actually being one himself

he's just come along at a time when the level of play of mens teams in the US is, for the most part poor.

i have hopes for the tyler geroge rink though, which has 2008 world jr. champ chris plys playing at 3rd so hopefully they can progress and fulfill potential

so i will say i enjoyed the continental cup. Maybe because jenniffer jones wasn't there(god i hate that team). jeff blew the final game though..WOW he made so many poor shots
