Third set, leveled at 4-4
PLD shouldn't be having trouble with Ghem but he is...

PLD goes down 6-7 6-3 6-4 to Ghem.
Really surprising as Ghem shouldn't have been a problem for PLD. But them again you just never know with him.

unreal, a mug like Ghem should'nt be having a sniff for grand slam main draw qualification but yet he's going to round 3.

If PLD couldn't qualify for a MD with such a cakewalk draw like he had, then he will never qualify. it was about as good as it got for him.

PLD is just not that good and this match proves it. Ghem is bad yet PLD couldn't beat him, it explains it all

To be fair - virtually all the favorites today lost. And PLD can't be called a favorite in GS qualifying - even against Ghem.

A shame too. On my wishlist, I wanted PLD to qualify for at least 1 Slam maindraw appearance in his career but oh well..he still has time i guess. |
