Ok, what is this cheerleader situation? I have a feeling Feldman is going to have a harem at the least, I think the rest of us in the competition should be able to have multiple cheerleaders.
As for my own cheerleader situation, I think Pirata volunteered a few weeks ago, but I'm not sure if we're still together

I'd prefer if more guys had 1 cheerleader rather than 1-2 guys having all cheerleaders.
I think last year it worked very well in teams of two but of course ladies (and gay men  ) are widely encouraged to also vote and support other contestants, *after* they first help their own boy  .

is this official ? what if you have a cheerleader who is not available during the days before the tournament for campaigning, isn't 2 or 3 cheerleaders not better then ?

The origins of it started in Miss MTF 2009 where girls were shy to take part, and the idea of each of them having own "man of trust" to help with everything, campaign, defend from rude trolls, and always vote her ahead of other women encouraged many of them.
My experience as both contestant and organizer of pageants is that human psyche works a little different when we show our pictures and personality to be judged, rather than when we clown during ACC or a popcon.
I personally believe that having one person to share things with one contestant is simply for their own good, rather than losing and having your own cheerleader voting somebody else, because "I am also his girl and I  him so much" while out of all people you count on *her* vote the most.
Also, there will be guys outside of chat threads, just making themselves known here, and perhaps they stand a smaller chance in some match-ups, so it will be good for them to have someone to console them. Of course Diana and I are here to do it, but I think I have made my point clear where it really comes from...
It is up to you guys and girls how you prefer to deal with it, there is really no official restrain for it, I only encourage MTF girls to empathise with these who don't have many friends here yet at the first place.
Of course everybody can consult photos/intro and get some campaign and votes from their friends. |
