That is great for Kei  And I'm looking for even more from him in 2012  What's a cheer for him? You know it's Vamos for Spain, Allez for the France, but what is it for Japan? |

Vamos or C'mon! for cheering or encouragement:
Ganbare pronounced [gambahreh], stress on "ga." "Re" should sound lower than the rest.
ganbatte pronounced [gambatteh], stress on "ga." "Te" should sound lower than the rest.
ike! (Go!) pronounced [eekeh]. "Ke" should sound higher than "I."
The verb ganbaru means work hard, fight hard, etc. Ganbatte sounds slightly more effeminated than ganbare.
Vamos or C'mon after winning a point, match, etc.:
Yoshi! (Good!) pronounced [yohshee], stress on "yo."
Yatta! (You did it!) pronounced [yattah!], intonation: "ta" should sound higher than "ya."
Yattene (You did it!) pronounced [yattahneh] intonation: "tane" should sound higher than "ya."
