Re: Kim Jong-Il is dead
The Fact: At one time was the world’s biggest buyer of Hennessy
For a few years in the early 1990s, it was confirmed by Hennessy that Kim Jong Il was it’s best customer, spending about $600,000 to $850,000 annually on the liquor. He is partial to the Paradis cognac, which can sell for over $700 per bottle. In comparison, the average North Korean makes about $1000 per year.

Good riddance.
One of the biggest mass murderers of this age.
Doubt much will change though. Poor North Koreans .

Re: Kim Jong-Il is dead
yeah, the south's population figure stands only at about 50% of the north, yet it's got a trillion dollar economy - while the north barely manages to come up with 40 billion. just mind-boggling. tons of agricultural potential, plus mining, precious metals etc.
apparently there's hardly any way to invest though. the only fund i've found so far is the chosun fund - and its contact address doesn't even work.

Re: Kim Jong-Il is dead
I thought this day would never come. I don't say this often in response to news about people dying no matter how shitty they were, but - good fucking riddance. Finafuckinglly. The crazy fucking psycho despot is dead.

He starved millions to death and you respect him? Some leader. Using logic like that it seems you would respect Hitler for making the trains run on time.
