In my army days everybody marvelled at how thin I was and my weight was actually 78 kg . Never been that thin in my adult life though. 87 kg is a bit too much however, so I'm now losing some. I'm down to just under 84 kg in a few weeks . My goal is to reach around 81-82 kg.
I've also stepped up and started to hit the gym again. A year or so back I was in the best muscular shape of my life but then I injured my wrist and stopped doing sports for a while. Now I'm back training again and slowly reaching top form again .
I hit the gym 3-4 times a week and play tennis 1-3 times during the week. I occasionally play badminton as well. I hate running long distance, so jogging is not for me. Thinking about starting to play basketball in a students' group, I used to play when I was younger.

Fun to read this at the moment.
I did drop the weight around 82, then summer came . Gained some of it back, then made a bet with a friend about weight training.
Now, after working out at the gym 5 times a week for two months and eating buffet lunches at work during my internship period, I've reached a healthy 88 kg . Gym results are going up very nicely as well, have been able to add weights 10-20kg depending on the exercise .

Re: MTF Fitness
Good thread bump. Over the Thanksgiving holiday my brother-in-law was showing me the P90X workout he's been doing for a few months and he looks better than ever. He says he's never felt more fit in his life. Has anybody else tried this system?
There's a ten-minute bootcamp version my sister tried and she says it killed her. She probably won't do it again but I'd like to give it a try. It sounds like a great way to lose a lot of weight in a short amount of time.

Re: MTF Fitness
Exercise is difficult.
Ever since I came back from the US I have put on about 13 kgs (year and a half). I have started running at least four times a week for about 3 km each but don't think it's enough.

Haven't tried it but it looks like overkill. I'd imagine you'd have to be pretty strong and fit to begin with just to avoid burning out.
The original Power 90 program would probably be better for most people. I've tried that and although it's boring, it's very good for building a strong base before you move on to something else. (it's easy to get it online illegally too)

if that's not enough to get in shape then your diet sucks. it's that simple.

Re: MTF Fitness
Won a bet with my friend by getting 100kg up in the bench press . That's the biggest weight I've ever lifted off that particular exercise.
My friend can still tie me by lifting 100 himself, and he probably will . But then were simply 2 winners .
