I think this is the right question. Almost everyting is wrong about Nadal, so it's harder to find a right thing about Nadal right now.

Well, i think he is still looking good. Else?

Hes lost some thickness to the hair.. Might be about time to shave his head like the rest of us baldies. Hes on his way to that "classic horseshoe pattern"

No idea. Just the footwork remains.

Hopefully 2012 will be different.

If not, then yeah, he'll be done, unfortunately.

Can't run down everything for every match and expect to be able to finish at the end of the year with quality. It is why defensive style has to be supplemented with aggression.

Nadal will be fine. He will most likely win the Davis Cup and will be a force in Australia. Several things were working against Nadal in London: lack of recent match practice, tiring season, and of course the fact that it was indoors. Plus his group turned out to be the tougher one.

his slice is a better shot (still needs improvement of course)
he has good hands at the net-
he's still fast
he still fights
he still goes through his ocd motions- bounce ball- pull on ass- wipe eye brows- stop for a second- then serve

Should tank smaller events. Play less matches.

Play 3 mini seasons per year, like Olderer does.

yup, accurate suggestion......except chennai/doha, he does not need to take any other 250 event seriously......except barcelona, he does not need to take any other 500 tournament seriously.......except montecarlo, rome and montreal, he does not need to take any other masters tournament seriously......if he follows that routine every season, he is still good enough for 5 more great seasons......

he is above all those useless tournaments......grandslams, davis cup titles and olympics is all that needs to be targeted and conquered......

concurred......a fit nadal is almost impossible to overcome in a best of 5 sets format unless your name is djokovic 2.0......i think he will be fit and raring to go by january and when that is the case i just can't fathom anybody taking him out in australia......we will see, he first needs to make sure he doesn't ruin his health and fitness right before the AO like he did this year by playing doha being semi fit and with flu......

Start da Game it would not hurt you to have a more humble attitude like your favorite player does. His excuse is not always that 'if I am 100% I am unbeatable in GS play' it's something like 'the opponent was just too good today' or 'there are many good players who can beat me on any given day'.

I love Nadal but it's a little bit of a disservice to him to act as though he is unbeatable when healthy and doesn't have to put in the hard yards and will never struggle, because it definitely is harder than it looks.

i hope he improves his form and does well in Australia, but I don't, nor does Nadal for that matter, think that he is unbeatable when healthy. it would be wise of you to recognize that that kind of attitude is just a fallacy to try and make yourself more secure in the condition/case of which Nadal loses so that you will have a justifiable excuse, i.e. 'if only he was healthy', which in the end will only hinder your ability to have a clear tennis perspective.
