I know it's listed that way (there are often mistakes in the crossover years), but Greenset say hard.

Yeah, 95 was last yr in Frankfurt, 96 first in Hanover. They can use any colour they like though of course.
The 96 vids didn't look much like Greenset Trophy tbh, although it's quite a few years back and carpet was starting to evolve a bit then. Who knows :-)

On fast courts players can get lucky more often. because players can just swing there heartout each shot and sometimes its a winner. You have to serve good but that's only one part of the tennis game.

If you had thought even longer and harder about your comment you might have found a way to thin it down even more by adding more and more repetitions. You sure like to puff up, eh?

Good to see how humiliating the poll results are for the hapless OP.

Well I prefer slow courts. But I would be sick without any variety. I think it's important they play as different surfaces as they can. Good for them and us too.
And if a player doesn't like a surface, nothing is required, withdrawal is always a chance.

Re: Does anyone like indoor tennis?
Everko doesn't even realize himself that he only dislikes indoors because Nadal doesn't win there. Hilarious.

What a joke. Here's a short history lesson: Some years ago, all the surfaces had unique characteristics and because of that it was almost impossible to dominate on all of them. That resulted in surface specialists, contrasting playing styles and many exciting match-ups. Now everything has been slowed down to clay speed, which has made the sport much more boring.
Indoors is a great venue for tennis. They should keep the indoor courts quick though and stop the homogenization.

Re: Does anyone like indoor tennis?
I overall like it. Even if it's mainly a serve battle, indoor tennis allows players with a great power and speed to show their skills

Re: Does anyone like indoor tennis?
Indoor is great. They are some issues -like it is to end of the year when players used to be more tired than before and that slams are over, but still i love it. Maybe indoor slam will be great, because WTF is only about best 8 and i would love to see more matches at some big indoor event- PAris hoe will be so fast like last year it was great. But what is best about indoor tennis is the conditions are perfect. MAybe some players could have trouble with lightning, but still no wind, no sun-hot and also when you are serving-smashing it can be disturbing. Without those 2 things indoor is great for how Mardy said great conditions and more likely better player will win. For example when you play outdoor, somebody can have trouble to handle wind and can loose, but he is clearly superior player, indoor he will win. So that is really what i like. Most indoors are fast surfaces, but they are also few medium-slower HC indoors and they are good too i think. I don´t think like some guys that indoor should be fast.
