This week Borna is playing U-16 European junior championships in Moscow.He is free in 1 st round.In 2 nd round he will play against Giorgi Javakhishvili (# 16 seeded) without a world junior ranking.

Borna won his 2nd round match against Javakhishvili 6-1 6-4!!!

In 3 rd round he will play agaist Augustas Radziukynas from Lituania.He is 1 year and 4 months older than Borna but olny # 948 on junior ranking list.

In the first round of the Budaros Cup (G2 level) Borna will play against #6 seeded Vlad Victor Cornea from Romania.

Cornea is 3 years and 2 months older than Borna,he is # 133 on the junior ranking list.

Wow!

In the QF he is playing against a 18-yr old wild card who has a very obscure info on the itf page, shows that he only played 15-ish matches in his career.
Good chance to reach the semis!

Borna is in the semis in only 2 nd time that he plays G2 level tournament!!!

Borna CORIC (CRO) defeated Gabor CSONKA (HUN) 4-6 6-4 6-0

Btw Gabor Csonka already have pro ranking (1612)...this is a big success for Borna and he will have big jump on the junior ranking list next week.Top 150 for sure maybe even close to top 100.

In semis he plays against Vaclav Safranek ( # 91) on junior rankings...big test for Borna but he has nothing to lose.

Safranek beat Borna 7:5 6:2. Oh well, no shame there loosing to a 17-yr old top 100 junior player.

Great week for Borna as he enters top 200 for the first time. Infact, he should land around rank 150! Also, he will be one of only 2 players ranked top 150 that are born in 1996.

Wrong!Brona was already in top 200, he was 197 th few weeks ago.

I think he will be much closer to #100 then #150 on monday

he will be at around 139.
qunzi (the guy in top 150 born 1996) is actually one year older.
next month will be so interesting. he will play in pancevo (G2), novi sad (G2) and umag (G1) in 3 weeks spare. first one starts at 6th of september.
all of them will be on his favourite surface, clay. i think he can reach semis on fist one, maybe even more. if he make a final he will be top 100. he will be 7th seed at that tournament. i don't have any espectations from other two tournaments.

^Yup, Borna is #139 this week. He's the youngest player in the top 400. The only post-1995 player ranked higher than him, Quinzi, is nine months older.

It's all very impressive. Congrats to Borna.
