Re: Canadian Players 2
I think it might be raining there. Diez made the Quarters in Morocco, seems to always play well there for some reason.

Krainik lost in the second round, but hopefully he can work from this result.

Re: Canadian Players 2
Nice win for PLD, he saved like 7 break points in his first two service games. I think the first three games took over 20 minutes. Good result for him especially since he is taking advantage of a LL spot.
Diez is into the semi-finals in Morocco, I have no idea if it's coincidence or not but he seems to be following the same trend as last year. This year he won a title like a week before last year's title came off his points and last year he made the SF in Morocco F3 which was about the same time as this tournament this year.

Re: Canadian Players 2
Duclos Well done for him, should give him a real rankings boost, regardless what happens.

Re: Canadian Players 2
Good for PLD, but I'm still frustrated with Vasek and the Rain Delay which probably affected his result

Re: Canadian Players 2
Vasek had no business losing this match, just hate it when someone dominates a match and then loses

Souza wons 29% of return points, Vasek won 24% of his returnpoints
Vasek only won 3 return points in set 1 before the TB in set 1, and never broke Souza the entire match
but I do feel the rain screwed up vasek's rythym, and with 2 straight DF after the delay that's hard to argue, serving a deuce is sure a tough way to retun from a delay
PLD in the semis, do he get a SE for the american CH next week then?

Re: Canadian Players 2
Steven Diez lost to #1 seed Viola in the SF 6-4 6-2. He also lost in the SF in doubles as well.
