Draw is tomorrow, hopefully a good one! Monfils, Melzer or Fish in the 3rd round!

There are so many unseeded dangerous player possible for R1: Ljubicic, Anderson, Kohlschreiber, F.Lopez, Isner, Petzschner, Gulbis, Karlovic...... Hopefully none of them will draw Richie!!

But as you point out there are a number of dangerous players we would wish he could avoid so I'm just going to take the positive outlook and say I hope Richard plays better grass court tennis than he has ever played in his life and stays 100% fit/uninjured - then it doesn't matter who he draws - he'll take them out

I don't know the format of this Boodles exo, but during the brief period when I watched yesterday, the commentator said something like "Nalbandian is in the "final" on Saturday.

Saturday is Richard's birthday and while I don't think he will party, he might have better things to do than hanging around at the Boodles, possibly through endless rain breaks/delays.

It could have been worse. He has to play well from the start, both first and the probable second round opponent are still involved in tourneys.

I am not that keen on so-called easy draws, Richard has in the past sometimes messed up with the easy ones and did well in tough draws, I hope this will continue.

Don't worry about Richie, it was only an exh, not "real" tennis...
I didn't consider this win of my fav player over my second fav player as "serious"
I was just happy to see my 2 fav players playing together even if it's fake tennis
