Re: Andy's 2011 - Hope Springs Eternal
He hasn't withdrawn yet? Bachinger/Malisse first. Should be fairly easy.
Lmao at War/Cox playing each other in the first round. Gauranteed two Brits in the second round

Re: Andy's 2011 - Hope Springs Eternal
I know I'm late (been busy), but I'd like to commend Andy for a great effort in his semi-final match against Nadal. Pity about the break-point conversion rate, but he really gave a good account of himself and I'm proud of the fantastic results he's had during the whole clay season.
Good luck for Queen's and especially for Wimbledon. Still don't like the references to the ankle, but I'm sure he would not risk aggravating the injury.

Re: Andy's 2011 - Hope Springs Eternal
Murray looking decent at the start and pretty darned good at the end, taking a feisty and fighty Tipsarevic down 75 76

Re: Andy's 2011 - Hope Springs Eternal
Quiet here this week
Murray obviously got a w/o as Cilic pulled out with an ankle problem (irony) and will face Roddick in the SF.
Tsonga, conqueror of Nadal, will face James Ward, who finished off Sam Querrey in the third set of his R3 match today and then took down Mannarino in the QF for good measure.

"If it's not Scottish it's crap!!!"
Yeah that would be me being a bad American, rooting for the Scot in the semi.

Re: Andy's 2011 - Hope Springs Eternal
Aye yer nae as daft as ye look loon!
Actually, if they both make the final I won't really care! It'll be good for Andy to have all the press attention on someone else for a change!

It would be better if James Ward could make the second week of Wimbledon. Let the English press root for their English homeboy. I'll take the Scot.
Now if you excuse me, I gotta practice my Scottish.

Re: Andy's 2011 - Hope Springs Eternal
Andy's often said it's the week before Wimby that's the worst for him, with all the press requesting interviews and all the attention - I'm hoping James will defend his Eastbourne points too so the press will leave him alone!
Anyway, who's stolen our Andy and replaced him with this serving machine?

Indeed. For the next three weeks I'm a James Ward fan, albeit for all the wrong reasons! Go James!

Yeah he's thoroughly outplaying Roddick at the moment. I do feel bad for my Randy though. Hopefully he can have a good week at Wimbledon, like a QF or something.

Re: Andy's 2011 - Hope Springs Eternal
Andy is playing so well his ball striking and his drop shots have been amazing. Hope he takes on Ward in the final. Hope he didnt peak to early befor Wimbledon.
