Re: Frank Dancevic
Good win Frank!
Surprised to see him get this far, but now he has shown he has the game this week to get him in. Can see the last match going either way.

Re: Frank Dancevic
It's really a must win match. You can't beat Schwank and lose to Crivoi and be taken seriously. Frank has had a lot of good wins but doesn't back it up consistently. Now is the time to do so. Match will be in his hands, it's not as if Crivoi has anything to beat Frank. Frank just can't beat himself, and if he doesn't, he'll take it.

Re: Frank Dancevic
Forecast is predicted to be the same Friday as it was today - I hope that helps Frank and quickens up play. With the way he's been serving, hopefully he can keep it up and steal a break here and there from Crivoi, who I don't remember having a great serve.

Re: Frank Dancevic
Really nice to see Frankie buckling down and making the commitment to these matches. Big change from 4 years ago when Laurendeau walked out on him for lack of effort at RG.
I'm hoping he will reap the rewards in the coming weeks.

Re: Frank Dancevic
And Frankie qualifies - nice and easy - 6-1, 6-3! Terrific stuff.

Re: Frank Dancevic
I think this about solidifies a Davis Cup appearance as our #2. And it doesn't hurt that Peter's been slumping and that Vasek's not been spending any time on clay.
Congrats Frank Hopefully he gets a good draw *cross fingers*

Re: Frank Dancevic
There are plenty of winnable matches for qualifiers (Q vs Q or vs Dustin Brown). Hopefully Frankie isnt cursed again and has to play Melzer in R1

Re: Frank Dancevic
I'm stunned to see Frank qualify without dropping a set. He'd won just one set at RG in his previous three times, hopefully this bodes well for his level heading to grass. As for the draw, looks like the best spots are the qualy v qualy games, Brown, Haas and ERV.

Re: Frank Dancevic
I just looked back at the Aussie Open qualy draw - Frank didn't drop a set there either. That's two Grand Slam qualies in a row without losing a set
Frank is just too good for this level, hope he can string some results together and get out of the challenger/qualy grind

Re: Frank Dancevic
frank raises his level for grand slams, there is no question about that
however he isnt as consistent outside of the slams, i mean he has lost games he shouldnt and at times by startling score lines...this year
