I was involved in the golf equipment industry and participated in the development of a device which was used as a 'dead weight' device to help with warming up. Is there any need for a similar device in tennis? I would appreciate your comments.
Although such devices are used in things like baseball and golf they are counter productive because the weight has a tendency of adding a hitch in the swing pattern.
I saw someone using a round thing that screwed into the string bed and added some weight for warm up swings. Kind of like the rings they put around baseball bats. But this thing was round and basically clamped the string bed when screwed together. Can't remember where I saw it.
