Estonia's Finest (yes better than Kanepi): Jurgen Zopp
Think now's a good time to start a cheering thread for young Estonian Jurgen Zopp. Is currently having a big week in Bergamo, Italy making it through to the semis and disposing of Oli Rochus 6-2 6-2 along the way in the QF. Next up he plays Muller and there should be some big serving in this one.
Brief bit of background, he is 22 years old and the serve and forehand are his best shots. Currently at a career high ranking of 211 which will rise after this week.
Also coached by former Finnish player Pasi Virtanen and a medium paced hardcourt is his favourite surface.

Re: Estonia's Finest (yes better than Kanepi): Jurgen Zopp
Zopp went down to Muller in the semis 6-4 7-6. Muller was serving out of a tree with 19 aces and Jurgen was under more pressure in his service games as a result. Good fight in the 2nd set but Muller was too good.
Next stop is the Wolfsburg challenger in Germany.

Zopp has drawn Brydan Klein in the first round of Wolfsburg and faces a potential rematch with Muller in the 2nd round.

Jurgen is through to the 2nd round after Klein retired one game into their opening round match.

OMG you started a thread for my Estonian mug! He's been doing pretty well lately.
Next up Müller again or Bachinger.

No more talking to myself
Disappointing loss today to Bachinger, 6-2 5-7 7-5. Zopp was down a set and 4-5 and saved 2 match points and ended up winning the 2nd. Then he had a match point on serve but Bachinger broke and proceeded to break again for the match.

Haha, it was called drama in Estonian media. But he probably played too much already.
Carrer high ranking at 194 this week.

Cheers for the pics Dalx.
Grigelis retired while up 5-4 in the 1st set against Jurgen so the tie is at 1-1. As always doubles will be crucial and Zopp/Berankis will be a good match, with Rycka obviously being the favourite.

He will be playing in the Bath challenger in GB next week. Pretty strong field, the draw will be out in the next couple of days.

Re: Estonia's Finest (yes better than Kanepi): Jurgen Zopp
Plays Clement Reix in the 1st round and a potential 2nd round match against Muller. Funny he has been drawn to play Muller at 3 tournaments this year already.
