Re: Severe Censorship
scoobs, i sincerely ask you if you have a quiet moment of time, sit down and read your posts in here and also in the discussion about bad reps thread. because the way you are answering to posters lately has become very very poor.

Hmm, Nadal vs. God thread got deleted, well because a minority of people aren't able to take a joke, that's not a surprise sadly. Problem is the actions of these crybabies and yes they are crybabies, especially when the Djokovic haha thread got closed. It was a sign a player made the grade and the match result threads were mostly talking about the respective matches.
The consequence of this is now the match threads are mostly flamewars, with hardly any discussion about the matches.

This. The moderation seems to be about addressing the complaints of those who cry the loudest irrespective of whether the crying is justified or not.

Yeah I only have to look at the scars from my wrist slitting on that dark day to remember that shocking event. Our God was suffering from a severe bout of Gooch tendon so the Rafatards and Fedtards joined forces in desperation to try and purge the Goochtards whilst we were weakened. They exiled our dear leader Glenn Mirnyi from the forums and then our other dear leader and creator Fast Clay went missing under mysterious circumstances and his sidekick finishingmove also disappeared in mysterious circumstances.
But we fought through the tough times and are now back with our God in good health and most of his followers survived the purge although unfortunately it seems as though the Boggotards and Mailman fans did not survive.

It has worked on other forums why not here?.
Only rule is no porn.
Create a new section called 'time out' and make it members only (only members can see it) with a password needed (ask mod for access).
think about it Scoobs.

The "penalty box" concept has been tried and currently used in a lot of the forums on the internet. My experience with that is it gets to a point where members just bitch and whine for the sake of it because the forum is there. It's fairly pointless IMO

I was going to post the exact same thing.
That's exactly the point.
Have the rules changed? If they have changed, we should've been informed about it. If not, then this is just arbitrary.

Those were the saddest days of my life. Not being able to lead our people in a time of dire needs. I sat at a dark corner of my bedroom every day analysing my mistakes so when I returned, I'd be able to lead our people more effectively and with a better strategic sense.

+1 Sad state of affairs if humorless whiners will get their way just to stop whining. Either there's reason to delete/close the thread or it's fine. In both this case and ha-ha threads, the threads existed for years and it was a few, but persistent people who objected.

Re: Severe Censorship
I totally back up the idea of a "Recycle bin" section to be created on this board. There are many posters who are never/rarely discussing tennis but are only here to gloat when a player loses a match or bash and insult those that they hate and I am not talking about pocking mild fun but posting hateful/mean comments. Now match threads which are not about Matosevic beating Mannarino have turned into ha-ha threads if you haven't noticed yet. I have to comb 15+ pages to find 5-6 posts about the match if I am lucky. What is the point in closing ha-ha threads and letting all ha-ha posts all over GM?
