Today Fiber insulted me and mods didnt act as they acted when I insulted him. Why do we even have mods that are so biased?

I think a no holds barred section for the forum is a GREAT idea. It can be for members who just want to let off steam/bitch etc chill you name it. Threads can be about anything from general issues/posters/life/tennis etc. It will generate a ton of activity, flush out gm, and make mtf an enjoyable place. Create a new section called 'time out' and make it members only (only members can see it) with a password needed (ask mod for access).

I think because everyone has problems with the moderation but only some show it, of course those who show it have more chances of getting a ban than those who just accept it and stay silent.

I don't get this whole attitude. Neither Pablo nor me are being offensive or aggressive in any way towards you or any other mods. Why the need to put up this attitude as if you were doing a favour to us? Part of being a moderator in any sphere is showing a uniformity of action and accountability towards the moderated. I'm not sure what attitude you're referring to. I'm attempting to ascertain what legitimate grounds you have to say "Moderation in this forum is in a ghastly shape and we have no-one to help".

If i'm short with people while doing this it's because the attitude I constantly encounter is the opposite of respect. I and my fellow mods are trying to do a job here in my spare time that is not easy - there are many conflicting demands to it - and we get constant hassle for doing so from people who have no interest in trying to appreciate these conflicts and demands. I'm not telling you that because I want a burst of sympathy - I don't - but why you expect me to be all sweetness and light when people come at me with such an attitude is a mystery.

We don't do random displays of power - we try to apply the rules as consistently as we can, we don't always get it right, but just because you don't know why something was done, doesn't mean it was done for no reason other than to flex our moderation muscles, nor is it done to try and engender "fear" - God, it's a tennis website, not Big Brother. Posters are banned because they breach the rules and for no other reason. Posters are not banned because of public pressure - if anything we're accused far more of not acting when various people demand it, much more than the converse.

If you have desperate urge to complain to those further up than the admins I will investigate your options for you, but if you plan to do that I'd advise you to have pretty concrete evidence of your complaints and how the moderators are not dealing with them - with reference to the site rules - ready to lay before them.

You insulted him first and he responded.

Now I decided, rather than, given you're on final warning, issuing you with a permanent ban, I would instead delete the posts and let it drop since it was pretty mild all round.

I can always do the permban and give FiBeR the appropriate warning if you prefer, tell me how you'd like it.

oh please. I insulted him? I said if he actually watched matches or not and that it amazed me his skill of analyzing with no clue at all. Where is the insult? I cant see it. Please, be reasonable for once

You have been told not to interact with him at all. By any measure that was an interaction and it wasn't a friendly one. Not to mention the twice calling him a cheat in TT (as though doing it in Spanish we wouldn't get it). Why don't you be reasonable for once? I don't want to see you kicked off the site but I am seriously losing patience with this.

Is there any superior to report this too? I feel I could get perma banned for calling someone clueless (when he was actually posting something without watching the match), i find this a sick extreme already

It is a good idea.
A part of the forum for all sorts of junk, insults, bitching etc. would make the rest of the forum better.

Can you tell me if there is any superior? I cant stand this rules and I cant see why exactly you are demanding a user not to talk to another one. Not that I dont respect you, just that I think you are a bit biased now, and I want someone else to look at this. Thanks

I will ask if there's anyone further up you can contact. But my view is, if you can't stand the rule, get off the site.
