He beat Lipsky 46 63 63 today.
In the main draw, he will face fellow American and qualifier Brendan Evans. If he wins, he will face 3 seed Robin Soderling.

Mike the grinder went to Paris earlier this week to test himself on clay. He was 31 seed for qualies.
QR1: def. Brzezicki 76(6) 46 61
QR2: def. Junqueira 64 76(6)
QFR: def. Hocevar 62 63
Unbelievable!!  With these wins, Mike has now qualified for 3 of the past 4 majors(US Open, Wimbledon). Beating a guy like Hocevar 62 63 says a lot about Yani's game right now. Who would of thought he could do this on clay!? 
In the main draw, Michael will play Lacko first round. The winner will likely face 11 seed Youzhny.
Join me in congratulating Mike for this huge feat! He has never played in Roland Garros before. |

he lost to Andrew Anderson 6-4, 6-4. Bad loss IMO, he needs to win these matches if he wants to climb back up the rankings.

That wasn't his father. The match was broadcast online by FrontRowTennis, they do the Dallas Challenger every year. It was someone else entirely who got the video to ESPN. Why the H8?
