Question, I have 15 committed players for the Kooyong exh. that starts the 12th, where there are 16 needed. I invited the top 16 + 17-21 as ALT. I still need 1 MD and 1 ALT to confirm (reminder sent).
Should I send out new invites to the numbers 22-25 or something to make sure there will be 16 players?

You may need to, to make sure you have 16 and a couple of ALTs in case they don't then send.
But I'll let someone who might know say for definite |

From the FAQ thread:
How to procede during challengers on a Grand Slam's second week?
If the player reaches a GS R16, they are out of qualifying; if they reach GS week 2, that means they are out of the challenger. These tournaments usually have a Tuesday start, so it's possible to play two qualifying rounds on Sunday & Monday. Players who are out of quallies can still be MD alternates or play doubles in these challengers if they don't reach the GS 2nd week.
