Eva, sorry I can answer you now about Jol. It's a bit strange that he leaves Ajax now, when he could have gone to a stable club like Fulham and he is the fave to take over Newcastle with an absolute cockchimp of an owner.
As for the pop con, it's a joke.

Re: Merton strikes back: Football & Snooker spamming plus random topics Rafachat vol.
In that toy shop yesterday, I saw the cutest little robot. (I like toy robots, preferably the windup variety. )
Price tag: € 160
I currently have 5 robots and they costed between € 11 and € 60.
So, I ask why this particular robot was so expensive.
Answer: it's from Japan and that country isn't exactly a low wages country.
I don't buy the low wages explanation because that's only part of the reason.
So, I looked on ebay and I found that robot in a shop in the USA. Including shipping costs and calculating from $ to €, it would cost me € 75 to get it shipped from the US.
€ 160 vs € 75.
Low wages in Japan? High profit margin in Brussels, more like it.

The ACC is a contest that no one wants to win, how is that not a joke?

I do tend to prefer the ACC exactly because there's less sucking up, manipulating, subtle or not so subtle backstabbing. It's more in your face, more direct.

Depends on your taste, I guess
Hilde, I haven't had any backstabs or subtle digs in the popcon in the 3 years I've participated in it so I guess it depends on the person

I think that you're a more neutral MTF poster, though.
I've seen plenty of backstabbing and subtle digs and no, I'm not going to give examples since I'm heading out to have another go at the Tintin shop (this time, I did check if they were open )
