Bitch race among Soderling, Davydenko and Roddick

Fed can still gain many points from those non-mandatory events... he should be playing many of them, not less... if he's ever serious about getting back to #1

also he gets a BYE into r2 which helps. 2 tournaments in a row after a long break shouldnt harm any player.

Don't forget sodercrap played this poorly against Berdych in Miami. Similar sort of scoreline if I remember correctly.

Would agree with the general sentiment here that Djokovic is the favorite tomorrow.

Maybe when they all retire, all three can have a sit down over tea and reminisce about their most painful beatdowns in Federer's hands.

100% agreed. Federer will not be winning any slams in any foreseeable future, so best thing to do is to take Wozniacki route and rack up those MM points. If he wins enough, he might overtake Nadal in a couple of years. Go for it, Roger

Federer didn't let soderling play his game, notice how many times he slice the ball giving soderling no power or rhythm. Soderling prefers the ball coming back quick, didn't happen.
Soderling ran out of ideas not good for a player rank 5 in the world IMO.

Was I watching a different match?

Fed played well. Soderling played bad because Fed makes him to. Fed expose the weaknesses of Soderling's game. He's not only "keeping the ball in play" while Soderling self destruct, it was smart tactics and good execution.

Now, watch Fed and Djokovic play UEs marathon in SF.

You're extremely bad at trying to be ironic. You should only focus on your main occupation: kissing Nadull's famous ass.

Robin really still has no answer for Roger's change up of pace in rallies. UEs as soon as he slipped in a slice, or forced a volley.

Combined with the pitiful effort on serve from Sod. 38% first serves won?

Oh No!! What had to be the most interesting match of the day, instead has been...

I'm sure that Robin wasn't feeling well during the match, poor Robin. for you!

Also funny that the matches of the three "Bigs" have been "no matches"!

While the "poor relative" has been very exciting and amusing to see. (at least Monaco and Meltzer have made "safe" our day of Tennis!!!!)
