yeah definetely we have no pressure when playing abroad. all the pressure will be on Serbians' shoulders, and we must be so smart to exploit the situation and turn it to our advantage.

ROME – The International Tennis Federation will check on security arrangements but does not expect to change plans for the Davis Cup final in Serbia following the violence by Serbian soccer fans in Italy.

The place for the preparation is still not decided.Tennis mag shows what could be the schedule after Bercy with between 4 or 7 days of rest then the preparation in a city of France with 5 or 6 guys not sure 6 is needed according Roux and they would flight to Belgrade the 28th of november.

Sa venue à Montpellier.
Je suis ici pour parler avec les joueurs. Pour commencer à leur faire comprendre qu'il faut s'attendre à vivre l'enfer. Et pour se préparer à l'enfer, il ne faut rien négliger. Même si les autorités serbes, tout le monde, nous expliquent que cela va bien se passer, moi j'imagine le pire. On est des professionnels et on ne peut pas avoir de regrets. Les garçons ont jamais vraiment vécu de rencontres avec un public hostile, mon devoir est donc de leur donner des infos, de les sensibiliser à tout cela. J'envisage d'ailleurs peut-être de faire appel à un "spécialiste de la question" en terme d'approche mental.

Le cas Benneteau
A la question: si Julien ne joue pas à Bercy est-ce qu'il est encore sélectionnable ? Guy Forget a été plutôt politique. "Je suis tous les efforts que fait Julien pour revenir, je suis attentif à tout cela. Après c'est vrai que se présenter à une finale sans avoir joué auparavant c'est une situation difficile. En revanche, il ne faut pas oublier que Julien a largement contribué à notre qualification. De tous les joueurs sélectionnables, la seule certitude que j'ai concernant Julien est le fait qu'il soit le plus en retard par rapports à ses potes.

La préparation
Pour une finale, c'est primordial, c'est même essentiel. L'autre point important, c'est que l'on a plus de temps que d'habitude. Et c'est agréable. Après, je vais aussi sensibiliser les joueurs sur la coupure qu'ils risquent de connaitre après Bercy. Cette coupure doit se faire dans un esprit différent des saisons précédentes car il y a une finale au bout. Et une finale de Coupe Davis c'est comme une finale de Grand Chelem. Si on l'emporte, on marque l'histoire du tennis, c'est aussi mon rôle car au final je sais ce que cela représente, et une victoire en Coupe Davis c'est énorme !
