Re: Javier Martí
He's playing Italy F14, so I'm guessing he's feeling fine

Re: Javier Martí
Unfortunately Javi lost R16 in Italy F14 Futures. He lost to Mikhail Vasilev 2-6, 4-6. He is currently ranked #476 in singles and #342 in doubles. He is progressing, so that's good!
The final scores of the matches:

He did have a some time off, maybe it takes some time to get the rythm back. Hopefully he'll do better in the next tourney. Vamos Javi!

Re: Javier Martí
Javi is playing futures in Romania this week. He's second seed and is playing against qualifier in R1. I'm hoping for a good run here.
Good luck Javi!!

Yeah, he retired while being 4-2 down in the third. But he won his doubles match, and is scheduled to play doubles final tomorrow

Hmm, weird. Maybe he felt something minor and wanted to quit so it didn't get worse? Who knows, I mean, he was already losing so.. Anyways, glad he does so well in doubles! That is great to hear. I hope the injury is nothing major, but I guess not since he's fit enough to play doubles?
I just wish he could take his opportunities more. I wish he would reach more QF's and be more consistent. He was seeded #2 in this tournament, and he should have been able to reach further than he did, but well, if he has an injury.. Just hope he gets well soon and keep playing tournaments. Only that way can he progress in the rankings. I think it's amazing that he's already #478 in the world, he's only 18 after all. He has an amazing opportunity to do well, if he only grabs his chances.
ETA: which tournament is he playing next?
