Gastón and Zabaleta played in a charity football match this last weekend against the Governor of the province of Buenos Aires´s team (the governor, Daniel Scioli, was a world champion in offshore powerboats, until he had a tremendous accident which cost him his right arm). You can see him between Gastón and Mariano in the pic.
You can see that the green team is wearing Diadora - it´s worth mentioning that Diadora became very popular in Argentina thanks to Gastón! In 2004/05 there were several months´ waiting lists to buy some of the clothes...

Reiko, you´re a genius!  I don´t know how you find these gems, but acording to the readers of that blog the video of Danny Miche interviewing Franco is excellent and full of anecdotes about Gastón. I´ll try to see it soon... |
