Some months have past, and in between this time, Clezar won a CHALLENGER tournament! Than he spent a couple of months playing challengers in Europe, without good results. However, he came back to Brazil couple of weeks ago and won a Future, and last week he went to the second round in Cali CH, losing to Ramirez Hidalgo. This coming-up week, he'll play Campinas CH, first round against Hocevar, Clezar should win... then he will play Thiago Alves, that would be tough, but we can't forget Alves will be tired since he's playing Cali's final tomorrow, and besides that, he is not undefeatable, Clezar himself defeated Alves when he won a Challenger in the middle of the year.

His ranking now is 254, in tomorrow's update, he should enter the top 250 again, and hopefully with good campaigns, since he doesn't have to defend much till the end of the year, he can finish near the top 200.

Well, it looks like he gave it back!

Guilherme Clezar def. [1] Thiago Alves - 64, 64

VAMOOOS! Now he'll play Sorgi or Moser, he should win and then advance to play Ghem or Kirche, that would be an interesting quarter final match for a Challenger tournament and Clezar definetely has chance of making semis or even a final in Belem.

Yeah, awesome win yesterday. In less then 2 hours he'll play against Kirche. If he wins, he'll be in his best position in the rankings in history, like 215. If he, in some way, wins the Challenger, he'll move on to the top 180!

AWESOME, another great win today. Now he'll play Hocevar... who lost to Clezar couple of weeks ago. Clezar has all the chances in the world to make it to another challenger final.

VAMOS CLEZAR!

He'll turn 20 on the last day of 2012, but this has been a really promising start to his career. One cannot expect a teenager to be consistent, and he's shown flashes of brilliance.

As mentioned above, it will be great when he comes to play in Europe a bit more. We'll see how he fares.
