Anyone think it's funny that their tournament logo is Mikhail Youzhny? Not playing here, no affiliation with the tournament, I dont get it

Re: Week 16: Panama City, Panama (Entry List)

Great win from Pedro and never saw before such clutchness perfomance from him, specially in the 2nd, where he was always chasing the score and I was sure that he was going to fold somehow, spacially serving *4-5 and *5-6, but man, he didn't even face a single BP in that set. Glad I was mistaken. Wish he could do more of those. He also didn't had one, but in the TB he was just dominating (clutchness at his best).

I really hope he doesn't fuck up this hard work to lose in the next round against Rochette, which is a player he should handle easily, on clay, but with Pedro you just never will know.

VAMOS PEDRO :worship:

Re: Week 16: Panama City, Panama (Entry List)

If Melzer Jr. loses this match, it will take some weeks to recover mentally. So many wasted chances, including MP's in his own serve, in the match that could be his biggest win in the carreer.

at the 19003433th match point, Gerald closes it. Delbonis had one, in Melzer's serve at 7-6* in the TB

Oh boy here we go again. Pedro Sousa muggin big time, in a match where he should probably be serving bakery products, but instead, he is about to eat one...

Re: Week 16: Panama City, Panama (Entry List)

Facundo Bagnis (ARG) def. (4) Daniel Munoz De La Nava (ESP) 6-0 6-2 ??

Does Daniel intend to play Barcelona quali (or even get WC to MD)? and had airplane ticket in a pocket?
And why did hell did he even flew to Panama in the first place?

Re: Week 16: Panama City, Panama (Entry List)

Sousa choking big time. 5-2 40-15 to 5-4. Missed 4 or 5 MPs.
Just a normal day in the office. More talented player in Portugal by some distance but he has a brain of a 2 years old child. Sad to see so much potential wasted. He could be top 50 kind of easily if he could fullfiil is potential, but instead he is strugglin to enter in the top 200 for the first time and he is already 24.

This match sums up Pedro's carreer. A win is a win, I guess. If I were a betting guy, I would never put a single cent in a match of him. Not even against Federer, not even against some some unranked club player guy.

Gil may suffer from bipolority, but it's Pedro's matches who are totally rollercoster all the time. The win against Cipolla was a very rare exception of solid showing by him. This happens once or twice per year. All ohter matches of him ends up somthing like 6-0 1-6 6-1 (winning or losing).
